Waiting for the release of stable version of Joomla 1.6 that includes a native ACL, i wrote this component that wants to be a supplement to the group management in Joomla 1.5 in order to manage user access to individual resources. The Joomla groups are extended and each user can belong to one or more groups. Each group defines one or more rules, each of which tends to assign the access rights to components, sections, categories and articles. The same applies to modules which can be viewed only with permission. Finally, you can manage the visibility of individual CSS Block. Each CSS Block can be viewed only by authorized users in the group.

CQI (Custom Quick Icons) is the replacement for the standard admin module 'quick icons' for faster access to the most needed/wanted shortcuts.
Define which component you ever want for quick access, assign icons you like. Restrict access, rename, access keys - many options ...
With the installation a component and a module will be installed and automatically activated (standard module is only inactiv). If you ever decide to Deinstall CQI, your former standard module will be activated again.

Used only if you want assign a custom icon to display in control panel for some components on some user groups. This revisited edition lets assign extended user groups definited by Djf Acl.
